Preparation, Planning and Journeying III (PP+JIII)

Although not a true BCU 5 Star Training, we might find ourselves in 5 Star conditions. We will actively search out conditions to play in the first 2 days - Popham Beach is a short ride that always seems to present interesting conditions.

Night time planning sessions might take us to different parts of the world as we search out the information necessary to safely lead groups in conditions.

Our journey will likely be further Downeast in the areas of Jonesport and the Bold Coast. We will be hoping for fog, currents and conditions.

Duration: 5 Days

Prerequisites: BCU 4 Star or equivalent

Although we have some equipment available, the progression through the PP+J scheme would anticipate that each individual paddler will be responsible for their own kit appropriate to the conditions.
