Introduction to Tidal Currents This class will take place in moving water. We will introduce skills such as ferrying, eddy line crossing and eddy hopping enabling us to use moving water as an aid rather than a deterrent to a good day on the water.
Prerequisites: 3Star or equivalent
Advanced Tidal Currents This class expounds upon the skill learned in Introduction to Tidal Currents. We will be paddling in Tide Races up to 4 Knots with 2-4 foot standing waves. Rescues and towing will be an important part of the day.
