Introduction to the Surf Zone Sometimes, the wisest thing is to do a controlled landing in the surf, and sometimes, you want to “catch a wave and be sitting on top of the world.”
This course will introduce the factors that make each a wise decision. We will look at wave formation, the surf zone and boat control skills. The ultimate goal of this class is to introduce and develop the skills that will allow us to surf waves rather than have the waves surf us! Prerequisites: Strong 3-Star skills
